Integration
ToolTwist applications are easily integrated with other Enterprise solutions. At the technology level, the underlying Java, XML and HTTP technologies support a huge number of options for connectivity to disparate technologies. At the application level, the use of UIMs (User Interface Modules) and XPC (XML Procedure Calls) simplify the process of intercepting data accesses and application events and integrating with external systems. ToolTwist also provides a Transform Engine for loading, extracting, and manipulating application data. This can be used for one-off populating of the database, or complex repetitive scheduled data loads from external systems. As needs require, integration may occur at many levels - from periodic batch data transfers, all the way through to complete online integration and combining of data sources.
